Welcome to South Bucks RSPCA
The south Bucks branch of the RSPCA cares for around 400 sick, injured and abandoned animals in our local area each year. Finding them new homes and giving them a second chance is the main focus of our work. Many are beloved pets from owners who can no longer care for them, others are rescued from abuse and neglect. Run by volunteers and almost entirely self funded, we rely on the generosity of individuals, groups and companies to help us care for the local animals in need.
Volunteer role for Welfare Officer
It is a most interesting and rewarding post helping low income families with their vet bills, which often enables them to keep their beloved pet. You must be a ‘people person’ with good admin and computer skills and able to keep accurate records. A good sense of humour does help too! Some animal experience/background is helpful.
This job may appeal to someone who is housebound for a variety of reasons, or retired as it requires no physical involvement …..just a comfy chair and a phone!!
