CHEEKY & DEZZA

Cheeky and Dezza are a pair of neutered bonded boys who the very best of pals. Cheeky is a Harlequin/Lionhead cross and Dezza is a sweet little Netherland Dwarf. They were nervous when they had to suddenly leave their home and come into RSPCA care. They coped with the change by staying very close to each other and now they are really starting to enjoy themselves. They like to explore and find the treats that their fosterer hides for them. They are always happy to see their fosterer and wait at the gate of their run when she approaches. Cheeky will eat from his fosterer’s hand and Dezza likes to have a stroke but being rabbits they are not keen on being picked up. Both these boys are gentle and have great characters and will be great bunnies for anyone who can spend time getting to know them. They are microchipped and up to date with their vaccinations so are hoping to find their forever home very soon. RSPCA guidelines are for a 6ft x 2ft x 2 ft hutch and a run that gives them exercise space of 60 square feet. Advice can be given as to how to set up a rabbit friendly living environment.

DORA

DORA

Dora was found as a stray and a has been in foster care for a year because she was found to have Snuffles. We believe that stress might have contributed to her original illness as she has since had a good appetite, no dental issues and is well except for an occasional snort. Although she has been stable since the original infection, she is still positive for Pasteurella and Bordetella so has spent all this time in isolation from other rabbits. She is wonderfully affectionate and enjoys twice daily cuddle sessions with her fosterer and has to make do with her stuffed donkey for companionship for the rest of the time. Dora deserves the company of a gentle and friendly neutered male rabbit, but she can only live with another rabbit that is a carrier for these organisms. She also needs to have an environment that promotes good respiratory health. She is used to living outdoors in a summer house that offers her good protection from the elements but also has a run attached so she can choose to sit outside when she wants. She enjoys watching all the comings and goings in the garden and if she was to live indoors then she would probably still need to be able to see outside. We believe her to be only about 3 years old but she could consider a husbun of any age as long as he didn’t mind being told what to do. If you have a potential partner for Dora, please get in touch to discuss how we might make two lonely rabbits happy.
